Whiteman's Apple and Cinnamon Chip Cookies

Created by: David Whiteman. I created this recipe myself, they are best made as Cookie Bars.


These are best as bars

Directions
Mix butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until light, creamy and fluffy in large mixer bowl. Add eggs; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in HERSHEY'S Cinnamon Chips, Apple Chunks(, and nuts, if desired). For Pan Cookies: Spread batter in a greased 13-1/2 x 10 x 1 inch pan. Bake at 375° Fahrenheit for 20 minutes. Cool completely; cut into bars. Makes about 20-24 Squares. For Individual Cookies: Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° Fahrenheit for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet. Makes about 6 dozen 2-1/2 inch cookies.
