Coffee Ring Cake

Prep Time: approx. 30 Minutes. Ready in: approx. 216 Hours 40 Minutes. Makes 4 cups of starter (4 servings).

Cake Mix

Filling Mix

Cream Margerine and Sugar. Add Eggs one at a time; beat well after each. Mix Flour, Baking Soda, and Baking Powder; altermately with Sour Cream and Vanilla, with portion on dry ingredients last. Pour 1/2 of batter in well greased and floured ring or angel food cake or tube pan. Pour Filling Mix over batter; then pour remaining batter over Filling. Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes. Glaze with thin Powdered Sugar Icing if desired.
