Coffee Ring Cake

  

Prep Time: approx. 30 Minutes. 
Ready in: approx. 216 Hours 40 Minutes. 
Makes 4 cups of starter (4 servings). 

Cake Mix

• 1/2 cup Margerine
• 1 cup Sugar
• 2 Eggs
• 2 cups Flour
• 1 teaspoon Bking Soda
• 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
• 1 cup Sour Cream
• 1 teaspoon Vanilla

Filling Mix

• 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
• 1/4 cup Sugar
• 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
• 1/4 cup finely chopped Walnuts

Directions

Cream Margerine and Sugar.  Add Eggs one at a time; beat well after each.  Mix Flour, 
Baking Soda, and Baking Powder; altermately with Sour Cream and Vanilla, with portion on 
dry ingredients last.  Pour 1/2 of batter in well greased and floured ring or angel food 
cake or tube pan.  Pour Filling Mix over batter; then pour remaining batter over Filling.
Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes. 

Glaze with thin Powdered Sugar Icing if desired.
