Chocolate Cake

Great Chocolate Cake.
  

 

• 4 Tblsp. cocoa
• 2 cups flour
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1 tsp. soda
• tsp. salt
• 2 eggs
• cup melted shortening
• cup sour milk
• 1 cup boiling water
• 1 tsp.vanilla

Directions

Sift 1st then measure 2 cups flour.  Put it in sifter,
add sugar, soda, baking powder, salt and cocoa.
Sift into large bowl add eggs, shortening, sour milk and
vanilla.Mix, it will be stiff.Then add boiling
water, Use lowest setting (number)
on mixer when you add the water or it will go all over. Mix until
smooth. Grease and flour large pan,
Bake @ 350 for 35-45 minutes.

** To sour milk, take 1 Tblsp.vinegar in  cup measure, fill
with sweet milk. **
THIS CAKE WONT MAKE A LAYER CAKE.
